ElEna Patchwork Slouchy bag sewing tutorial

Hello Friends,

The Elena Bag sewing tutorial is now available for you to make. this bag is just so adorable, and will definitely brighten your day. We are going to use some charm packs to create that scrappy patchwork look and I promise you, it won't be complicated at all.
There are 3 slip pockets, a lipstick pocket, and a zipper pocket inside. So not only pretty, this bag will function as well for your day to day activities.

Daisy Bow Wristlet Clutch sewing tutorial

Today, we are going to make this gorgeous wristlet clutch. This little pouch is very practical, with it's compact size, yet still give you enough room to carry your necessities such as  your cellphone, keys, and if you are a mom , maybe a diaper and some wipes. 

This clutch can be either dressed up or down, from an evening out to running errands.

I made this wristlet only out of 2 fat quarters. You may also use two 1/2 yard of cotton quilt weight fabric, or any fabric leftover you have in your stash.

Supplies :
2 Fat Quarters  (or two 1/2 yard of cotton fabric)  
9" Metal Zipper
Fusible woven interfacing 
Fusible Fleece

​Exterior fabric : Cut two 10.5" x 7" (26.6cm x 17.8 cm) rectangles
Lining Fabric : Cut two 10.5" x 7" (26.6cm x 17.8 cm) rectangles
Bow : Cut one 10.5" x 7" (26.6cm x 17.8 cm) rectangle
Pockets : Cut two 10.5" x 7" (26.6cm x 17.8 cm) rectangles
Fusible woven interfacing : Cut two 10.5" x 7" (26.6cm x 17.8 cm) rectangles
Fusible Fleece : Cut two 10.5" x 6.5" (26.6cm x 16.5 cm) rectangles
Bow Wrap : Cut one 6” x 2” (15.2 cm x 5cm) rectangle
Wristlet strap : Cut one 17” x 2” (43.2cm x 5cm)rectangle
Strap Anchor : Cut one 2” x 2” (5cm x 5cm) square

Please feel free to have fun with your fabric selection. You may also customize the size, of this wristlet pouch, the key is to make sure that the width of your fabric is the same as the full size of your zipper (unless if you will use the nylon zipper instead).

Patchwork convertible foldover bag tutorial

In today's tutorial we are going to make this super adorable foldover bag that is convertible, can be used as a shoulder bag or converted into a crossbody with that cute foldover effect.

The finished measurement of this bag will be about 14" x 11" when worn as shoulder bag, and 11" x 11" when worn as crossbody.

You will learn so many different bag making technique in this tutorial, from attaching zipper pocket, adding magnetic snap closure, installing swivel and adjustable slider, ond many more. The full tutorial of this bag is available on my youtube channel. I have inserted the video down below
How to sew a convertible foldover crossbody bag "The Clara Bag"

You will need :
3 Jelly rolls or 3 strips of 42" x 2.5" fabric) 
1 Fat quarter or 1/2 yard of quilt weight cotton fabric for the accent fabrics
1/2 yard of quilt weight fabric for the straps
1 yard of quilt weight fabric for the lining and pockets
Nylon Zipper (at least 7" long)
Fusible woven interfacing 
Fusible Fleece 
2 one inch d rings
2 one inch lobster swivel clasps 
1 one inch adjuster slider 
Magnetic snap
Quilter wonder tape 

Measurements:
Jelly rolls : 
Sew all 3 jelly rolls then cut 4 pcs of 6.5" squares and a 12.5 wide rectangle
 
Accent Fabrics:
Cut 2 pcs of 3" x 12.5"
Cut 11.5" x 12.5" rectangle 

Lining 
Cut 2 pcs of 17.5" x 12.5"  rectangles 

Woven Interfacing
Cut 2 pcs of 17.5" x 12.5" rectangles

Fusible Fleece 
Cut 2 pcs of 16.5" x 12.5" rectangles

Zipper Pockets 
Cut 2 pcs 8" x 10" rectangles

Slip Pocket
Cut 14" x 12.5" rectangle
