“So Organized” Bag 2 – Smaller & More Polished Version
If you’ve made my  Quilter’s “So Organized” Bag, you might recognize this one!
I decided to revisit the design and create a smaller, more compact version with a few updates. This new version is smaller, has an extra pocket, and has a more polished look—thanks in part to the faux leather handle.
It may be smaller, but it still gives you plenty of room to keep your sewing essentials organized.

The finished bag measures approximately:
9" wide × 4 ½" tall × 4 ½" deep
I wanted this version to have a smaller footprint while still being practical enough to hold the things I reach for most often while sewing.
And there’s one feature I especially wanted to add: an extra pocket.
The additional pocket gives you another place to separate and organize smaller tools and notions, making it easier to keep everything in its place.
One of my favorite updates is the faux leather handle.
The handle adds a little structure and gives the bag a more finished, polished appearance. I love how just this small detail changes the overall look of the bag.
It also makes the bag easy to grab and carry from one sewing space to another.

What Can You Use It For?
While this bag was designed with quilters and sewists in mind, you can use it for much more than sewing supplies.
It’s a great size for keeping things like:

• Sewing clips and pins
• Small scissors
• Seam ripper
• Measuring tools
• Thread
• Glue
• Marking tools
• Small quilting notions

You could also use it as a small craft organizer, project pouch, or everyday bag for keeping little essentials together.

Why I Like This Version
I really like the balance of this updated design. It’s smaller and easier to carry, but the added pocket gives it even more organization.
And visually, the faux leather handle gives it a cleaner and more finished look.
Sometimes a smaller bag is exactly what you need—especially when you don't want to bring your entire sewing room with you!
