WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THE DENIM PATCHED PURSE FABRIC For the bag exterior, you will need a bunch of denim/jeans scraps, cut them in random sizes, also a bit accent fabric (black faux leather) for the lower panel. I use the sassy mushroom fabric (fabric 1) that I designed in my whimsical fabric collection (available at Spoonflower), and I got my canvas fabric (fabric 2) from Etsy, it's a cotton canvas duck in solid black color. For the interior fabric, you will need about 3/8 yard of cotton quilting fabric. I use the sassy mushroom fabric (fabric 1) that I designed in my whimsical fabric collection (available at Spoonflower), leftover from the Sassy Satchel project. INTERFACING & STABILIZER Fusible Woven Interfacing is what you need here to bind the denim patches together. ZIPPERS 9" long metal zippers for the zipper closure 7" long metal zipper for the front zipper pocket at least 7" long nylon coil zipper for the interior zipper pocket. HARDWARES D-rings 1/2" (1.2cm) inner measurements 2x OTHER 1/2" (1.2cm) wide premade leather strap OR sew your own strap.
