WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THE DENIM PATCHED PURSE FABRIC For the bag exterior, you will need a bunch of denim/jeans scraps, cut them in random sizes, also a bit accent fabric (black faux leather) for the lower panel. I use the sassy mushroom fabric (fabric 1) that I designed in my whimsical fabric collection (available at Spoonflower), and I got my canvas fabric (fabric 2) from Etsy, it's a cotton canvas duck in solid black color. For the interior fabric, you will need about 3/8 yard of cotton quilting fabric. I use the sassy mushroom fabric (fabric 1) that I designed in my whimsical fabric collection (available at Spoonflower), leftover from the Sassy Satchel project. INTERFACING & STABILIZER Fusible Woven Interfacing is what you need here to bind the denim patches together. ZIPPERS 9" long metal zippers for the zipper closure 7" long metal zipper for the front zipper pocket at least 7" long nylon coil zipper for the interior zipper pocket. HARDWARES D-rings 1/2" (1.2cm) inner measurements 2x OTHER 1/2" (1.2cm) wide premade leather strap OR sew your own strap.

I can't never share enough of wallet projects indeed :). I've been wanting to make a simple wallet for my son to be his first wallet. I managed to create one for him (the one with blue rocket/space fabric - leftover from making his quilt few years ago).
I like the outcome so much, then I thought why not make another one (the pink one with button snap closure to add variation to this pattern). Although these wallets are labeled for "kids", they can be made for adult too, especially if you like minimalistic wallet style.
These simple bifold wallets are perfect for kids as their first wallet to carry their student ID, library card, membership card, and a bit of cash (in case they need to bring some to school every now and then).
Finished wallet measurements : Approx. 4" x 3 3/4" (10 x 9.5 cm) Features include : 4x card slots 2 compartments (great for older notes or extra cards) Button snap closure (optional)

The SALI crossbody bag is a fun little bag for your everyday errands, traveling, and will also make a lovely gift. This project is inspired from the crossbody cellphone bag pattern that many of you enjoyed, but larger in size, and fancier with metal zippers, and added card slots
Features include 2x external zipper pockets 4x card pockets 1x slip pocket Zipper closure Adjustable strap
I created two design variations, the first design, Design A, using two fabric combination (cotton quilting + canvas) for the exterior; and the second design, Design B, using one uniform fabric for the whole exterior including the strap.
what you need to make the sali crossbody bag
FABRIC
DESIGN A : For this design, you will need a combination of cotton quilting fabric and canvas fabric.
DESIGN B : Cotton quilting fabric is all you need here, about 1/3 yard for the exterior, and 1/2 yard for the lining fabric INTERFACING Fusible woven interfacing is needed to stabilize the exterior panels & strap for design B, for design A, you will need this except for the canvas fabric. Lightweight interfacing (I use pellon PLF36), to stabilize the card pockets without adding too much bulk. RFID blocking fabric (optional) ZIPPERS For the pockets you will need two 5" long zippers, and for the closure you will need 8" long zipper. I recommend metal zipper to get that "fancy" look, nonetheless nylon or or resin coil will work as well. HARDWARES D-rings 1/2" (12mm) inner measurements 2x Swivel hooks 1/2" (12mm) inner measurements 2x Adjustable strap slider 1/2" (12mm) inner measurement, if you use cotton quilting fabric for the strap (design B), if you use canvas fabric (or any thicker fabric) you will need 5/8" (16mm) inner measurement one.
