How to attach the handle holder (additional video)What you need to make the biru backpackFABRIC Thicker fabric such as canvas fabric is recommended for the exterior & accent fabric. I use this lovely canvas duck fabric from Etsy (small backpack). Denim, heavier linen, and home fabric will also work for this project. For the interior of the backpack you may use lighter weight fabric such as cotton quilting fabric. You may also try nylon ripstop fabric if you want the interior of your backpack to be water resistant. STABILIZER & INTERFACING Fusible Foam Stabilizer is used in this project to add structure to the back, bottom, and the padded pocket compartment of this backpack. Look for foam stabilizer that is designed specifically for bag making such as those made by bosal or flexi foam. Fusible fleece is used for the straps for added comfort (optional).
