The Waterfront Beach Bag is the perfect bag for your beach/lake/pool adventures this summer (or anytime of the year you book your vacation for).
This is a large tote bag that will fit all of your beach/ water activity essentials. I designed this bag to be light and packable thus it will take a little space in your luggage.
Finished bag measurements : approx. 15" w x 13 1/2" t x 6 1/2" d (28 x 34.3 x 16.5 cm).

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THE WATERFRONT BEACH BAG

FABRIC
For the bag exterior I use the waterproof home decor fabric
Another great option includes waterproof canvas or cotton laminate. You may also use regular canvas fabric, then that it with waterproof spray such as this one afterwards.

Nylon ripstop fabric is what I use for the lining of the bag, another great option includes PUL fabric, or shower curtain :)

STRAP
To make this project simpler, I choose to use webbing strap. Making your own strap will certainly work, just make sure to make your strap 1 1/2" wide which is the same width as the width of the webbing called in this pattern.

CLOSURE
Magnetic snap closure (18mm) is what you need for the closure of this bag.

ZIPPER
Nylon coil  all purpose zipper size #3 or 1" (2.5cm) wide  for the interior zipper pocket.
